Platform Real Estate Group to Develop Industrial Site in River Ridge<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n River Ridge Tract 29B to be acquired by Platform Real Estate Group<\/span><\/i> Louisville, KY (February 20, 2023) – Platform Real Estate Group is excited to announce its newest industrial development project in the River Ridge Commerce Center. The newly acquired River Ridge Tract 29B is a 19-acre industrial development that will be home to 304,000 square feet of Class A industrial space located in Charlestown, IN.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Platform Real Estate Group, a joint venture between Thornton Capital and Denton Floyd Real Estate Group, was launched in 2021 with the mission to develop best-in-class industrial facilities. The organization is an integrated industrial development company, providing strategy and planning, development and construction services, asset management, and investment management capabilities.<\/span><\/span><\/span> “Platform Real Estate Group is committed to delivering long-term assets that serve as critical infrastructure to supply, assemble, and manufacture products and provide services across the United States,” said Tom Jones, Co-Founder of Platform Real Estate Group and President of Thornton Capital. “We are excited about the prospects in our local community and more broadly throughout the country.”<\/span><\/span><\/span> River Ridge Tract 29B will be a Class A rear dock development that will feature a building depth of 320 feet, 69 loading docks (67 standard docks and 2 oversized docks), 185 feet in truck court depth, a 36-foot clearing height, 69 tractor trailer spaces, 180 current employee parking spaces, 32 future employee parking spaces, and 2 exterior galvanized steel stairs with an adjacent ramp for pedestrian access. Platform began construction of River Ridge Tract 29B in November 2022.
