Denton Floyd Receives the 2023 Heritage Award from the Louisville Historical League
The firm was recognized for its successful restoration of three properties in the Louisville MSA
Denton Floyd Real Estate Group was recently awarded the 2023 Heritage Award by the Louisville Historical League on Sunday, August 20, 2023, for its successful restoration of Grocers Ice Lofts in Louisville, Ky., The Masonic Lodge in Jeffersonville, Ind., and the New Albany City Hall in New Albany, Ind.
Grocers Ice Lofts – This 77-unit luxury apartment community represents 1 and 2-bedroom units located in the thriving NULU area of Downtown Louisville. The project was originally an ice house built in 1906, and Denton Floyd fully restored the building in March 2022.
The Masonic Lodge – This 20,000-square-foot building is located at 509 Spring Street in Jeffersonville, Ind. The building was originally constructed in 1926 and today represents Denton Floyd’s corporate headquarters. Denton Floyd fully restored the building in February 2022.
New Albany City Hall – This 24,000-square-foot building is located at 142 East Main Street in New Albany, Ind. The building was originally constructed in 1852 and today represents New Albany’s City Hall. Denton Floyd fully restored the building in September 2021.
