Denton Floyd is Named 2025 Property Management Company of the Year
Team members also took home both the Shining Star and Presidential Award
Denton Floyd Real Estate Group (“Denton Floyd”) is proud to announce that the company has been named the 2025 Property Management Company of the Year by the Louisville Apartment Association (“LAA”). In addition, Denton Floyd team members were recognized with both the Shining Star Award and the prestigious Curtis Hart President’s Award during the LAA’s annual awards ceremony held on November 21.
The LAA Presidential Awards honor individuals and companies that demonstrate excellence in multifamily housing, recognizing outstanding contribution, customer service, and operational performance throughout the Louisville region. Denton Floyd received numerous nominations this year, representing properties and team members across multiple categories, including leasing, maintenance, and corporate support roles.
This marks the second time in recent years that Denton Floyd has earned the distinguished Property Management Company of the Year award, having most recently received the honor in 2021. With more than 15,000 units under management or development, this recognition reflects the company’s high standards in team member development, retention practices, and its superior resident experience initiatives.
As part of the evening’s program, two Denton Floyd leaders were individually recognized for their contributions to the industry. The Curtis Hart President’s Award, one of the association’s highest honors, was awarded to Forrest Harrison, Personal & Engagement Manager at Denton Floyd. Additionally, April Douglas, Vice President of Asset Management, received the Shining Star Property Member of the Year award for exceptional performance in her role at Denton Floyd and involvement within the Louisville multifamily community.
